Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll have announced that the highly anticipated Spy x Family Code White film will be released in the United States and North America on Friday, April 19, 2024. The film will be screened in its original Japanese language format with English subtitles, as well as in an English dubbed version.

The Spy x Family Code White film features an original story created by Tatsuya Endo, the author and illustrator of the original manga. Endo also supervised the film and provided the original character designs. The manga first debuted on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in March 2019 and continues to be serialized.
The film is directed by Takashi Katagiri and produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, the same studios behind the mainline television anime adaptation. The script is written by Ichiro Okouchi, with Kazuaki Shimada as the character designer and Kana Ishida as the sub-character designer. Kyoji Asani serves as the chief animation director, and Kazuhiro Furuhashi as the animation supervisor.
The music for the film is produced by [K]NoW_NAME, with Shoji Hata credited as the sound director. The theme song, titled “Soulsoup,” is performed by Official HiGE DANdism. Gen Hoshino performs the ending song, “Hikari no Ato,” which serves as a sequel to the first season ending theme song “Kigeki” they performed for the anime.
The film follows the story of Loid, a spy, and Yor, an assassin, who pretend to be the perfect family while keeping their double lives a secret. However, their adopted daughter Anya, who is a telepath, knows their true identities. When Anya mistakenly gets involved in Loid’s mission, called Operation Strix, events unfold that threaten world peace.
