The official staff for Tower of God Season 2 unveiled a teaser promotional video for the highly anticipated sequel during the event. The teaser confirmed that the second season will premiere on Crunchyroll in July 2024, much to the delight of fans who have been eagerly waiting for its release.

Tower of God Season 2 serves as the continuation of the original anime series, which premiered on Crunchyroll back in April 2020. The first season consisted of 13 episodes and was based on the manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name by author SIU. After four long years, fans will finally get to dive back into the captivating world of Tower of God.

The official teaser video showcased two key characters from the upcoming season: Ja Wangnan and Jyu Viole Grace. Taichi Ichikawa, the voice actor for Bam, the protagonist of the series, presented the teaser video at IGN Fan Fest. He revealed that the second season will begin with the Return of the Prince arc from SIU’s manhwa, which takes place six years after the events of Season 1.
In the teaser, Ja Wangnan, a blonde-haired boy, is seen struggling to clear the tower’s tests. Tower of God Season 2 will focus on his journey as he attempts to retake the test. Alongside Ja Wangnan stands Jyu Viole Grace, a long-haired character who was briefly shown at the end of Season 1. Jyu is described as a slayer candidate of FUG, an evil syndicate that opposes Zahard, the King of the Tower.
Taichi Ichikawa also mentioned that he will be voicing Jyu Viole Grace in Tower of God Season 2, hinting at the character’s importance in the upcoming narrative. The voice actor expressed his excitement to see how the story will unfold through Jyu’s perspective.
