True Beauty Anime Adaptation: A Charming Debut
The highly popular South Korean webtoon, True Beauty, is set to make its debut as an anime adaptation. True Beauty first appeared on Naver in 2018 and quickly gained a global following before concluding in 2023. Following the success of the K-drama adaptation, the series is now preparing to release an animated version, and a new clip has been unveiled.

IGN recently shared the exclusive footage during its Fan Fest event. Studio N and Cocktail Media are responsible for bringing True Beauty to the screen, with Crunchyroll licensing the animated series. Based on the clip, it is evident that the show will be incredibly charming.
The clip, which is in Korean, features a classic scene from the web comic. Lim Ju-kyung, portrayed in all her nerdy glory, is seen browsing through various comics. When she spots a new release that catches her eye, Ju-kyung reaches for it, only to be stopped by the attractive Lee Su-ho. This encounter leaves Ju-kyung speechless, and the next day, she transforms into her popular persona, reminiscing about the encounter.
